Welcome to Guise Medical

We are four medical students in Louisiana on our journey as aspiring physicians with a passion for creating the best possible patient experience. Our final team member is a law student at Harvard with a passion for biotech and innovation.

Our company aims to decrease the fear children have when going to the doctor’s office to receive vaccines and shots. Guise Medical is a device company that designs and produces customizable syringe covers to alleviate the stress of the doctor’s office.

The MED-pal makes the perfect souvenir or keepsake for the kids after acting as the perfect cover to make our healthcare providers’ job a tad easier.

Our patented device is adjustable which allows it to be attached to several size syringes, various other medical devices or anything else one might attach it to. With a global pandemic spreading and more needlesticks being a way of life, please join us in making the doctor’s office a fun visit!

We noticed this problem throughout many pediatric clinical settings and decided it was time to solve this problem once and for all. Cue the Guise MED-pal! Our invention serves the purpose of creating a disguise for the syringe which alleviates the scary sight of a needle coming for your arm. Our MED-pal device is designed to look like a toy with several variations and colors available to create a fun experience for children in an anxiety-inducing environment.
The Guise Commitment:
We are committed to providing the best patient experience possible! Our goal is to strive for a comforting encounter for every child who goes to the doctor’s office. We know that sometimes healthcare settings can be overwhelming and even more so for children. This is why we aim to provide children with feelings of safety and peace of mind.

"The mind is not a vessel to be filled, but a fire to be kindled.”
